Marking exam scripts is over. Grades have been submitted, and now only waiting for wedding invitations and fulfilling them. This is the time of the year when many couples marry and sometimes you can get too many invitations to attend. Attending all the invitations is also a challenge for me, when I attend I have to eat and being of small build I cannot eat as much as others, so I just attend and eat a little only.

Opportunities
Malaysia is the place where opportunities are bountiful. They are there for those who want to put the effort , either physical, mental or emotional etc., to win it. Make sure you grab it before others get it. Either work a bit more, think a little more or persuade more people; maybe a few can do all these and more to get more gains. So good luck Malaysians.

7.00 am ready for another fishing trip. Started off 10 minutes later with Zamri and Abu and texted Ikram but got the reply that he and Jefri were just leaving Segamat. That means we were about an hour ahead of them becos the meeting point before leaving was to be at Ust Abi's place in Seremban. We took the untolled old road to kill time then had tea at Senawang while waiting for Ikram and Jefri.They made it at past 10 am. we proceeded to Abi's place and had nasi lemak before putting all the stuff into Jefri's and my car. Then off we went; to Lumut. Stopped at Sungai Besar for lunch and hit the road again to Telok Batik, Lumut. Pak Usop and his crew of 2 were anticipating our arrival. After ten minutes the boat was ready to leave.
The ride to spot number 1 was about an hour. It was about half past six and everyone started lowering their lines. Jefri made the first notable catch. A talang about a foot long and 1000 grams in weight I guess. It came up after a very 'scoldful' tutelage by Pak Usop- " lepaih tali, jangan gopoh, oghang lain neik tali, gulong, jangan taghik putuih nanti. Haa tuu diaa hang tengok, kalu hang gopoh tadi lepaih daa..." everyone applauded in their hearts and heads upon seeing the big one. The writer was still waiting for lady luck to hook something at the end of the line.
